Day 7 is a recipe.  These Banana Penguin Pops are beyond cute!

  • A couple of bananas, halved.  You can freeze them before dipping to make them a little bit more durable.
  • About a half cup of chocolate chips with a tsp of coconut oil, microwaved and stirred for about 1-2 minutes
  • Candy Eyes
  • Mini Reece’s Pieces or Orange m&m’s cut in half.
  • Popsicle or wooden sticks (these are optional, they roll in the chocolate easier without the sticks)

And that’s all you need!

Line a pan with parchment or wax paper.

Dip the banana head first into the chocolate and gently roll side to side to get the penguin’s coat and head covered, then use a spoon and gently dab some on the foot area, then apply the candies.

Lay each penguin on parchment paper, on a cookie sheet, with lots of room in between. Then freeze them for as long as possible.

I froze them for about 30 minutes and they’re good to go!

Remember- if you think it would help, invite a friend, co-worker, family member, or spouse to join you on this challenge! December is the BIGGEST month where people fall off the wagon, and vow to start fresh in the new year.  Not to mention how many treats there are this month!

Due to that, this challenge is an easy way to at least put in 5-10 minutes a day of exercise, and practice balance over the holidays.  Some of the workouts are even geared toward doing during holiday movies! If you’re looking for a more in depth workout routine to keep you in check for the next few months, here is my 12-Week at home affordable workout guide.
